Founded in Arizona in 1993 and now listed on Nasdaq, it is present in over 100 countries worldwide with 1650 employees and a network of over 18,000 public safety agencies. In addition to electric pulse instruments, the company provides other technologically advanced professional solutions that it exports worldwide, including wearable cameras with a dedicated platform, evidence management software, and solutions for police vehicles and interrogation rooms.
Objective
Implementation of an institutional accreditation and strategic communication strategy to support the expansion of the company’s business in Italy and aimed at the technological development of public administrations and companies. To spread awareness of Axon products and services, of their positive impact in terms of protection for public safety and of their potential in new sectors.
Activities
Institutional relations. Intelligence strategy, engagement and top-level institutional positioning, both at national and local level, to present the company, its products and services and promote their diffusion. Legal and technical-administrative support.
Strategic communication and crisis management. Integrated communication plan, aiming to improve the company’s image and reputation in Italy and react to any crises.
Results
In 2021, after a long process lasting more than 5 years, Axon won the national tender for the supply of Taser to the Polizia di Stato, Carabinieri and Guardia di Finanza. Axon also works with various other local police forces throughout the country to supply Tasers and Bodycams.
With the support of Comin & Partners, the company has consolidated its presence in Italy, both at an institutional level, with the heads of government, parliament and local authorities, and in the media.
